How it all began
Brittany & Perry
Perry and Brittany first met at MAGFest in National Harbor, Maryland, after being introduced by their mutual friend Ariane. She has been friends with Brittany since her college days and she knew Perry from playing online video games together. Being new to the DC metro area, Brittany met Perry and decided he was fun and would make a great friend! During the convention they even danced salsa together!
Over the next several months, Brittany invited Perry to gaming meetups, salsa parties, and video game conventions. Unfortunately Perry was busy and was only able to occasionally hang out but they shared memes over Discord. Finally, after hanging out one day, Perry asks Brittany if she would want to be more than friends. Brittany and Perry officially became an item at MAGfest, 1 full year after they met!
Since combining forces, Brittany and Perry love to spend time with each other watching movies, playing video games, and sometimes even dancing. On top of having similar interests, they are a great balance to each other, where if one of them struggles, the other one is there to help. Perry eventually decided he wanted to propose. With the help of their amazing friends Amelia and Melissa, Perry gathered flowers, cake, and mood music before proposing to Brittany.
Perry and Brittany are thrilled they get to spend forever with each other and are excited to share this special day with friends and family.
Our Family Emblem
The family emblem depicts a sparrow in flight, its wings outstretched in a protective hover. Clutched in its talons are our birth flowers, a snowdrop and a honeysuckle, symbolizing our union. The sparrow represents home, community, resilience, and humble devotion, while the snowdrop embodies hope and new beginnings, and the honeysuckle signifies enduring love and steadfast commitment. Together, the emblem reflects a family dedicated to creating, welcoming, and uplifting others, building a home where love, creativity, and community flourish.
